The ceremonial Sunday program celebrating the 100th anniversary of TK Slovan Bratislava began at noon on June 18, 2023.

This was followed by the men’s singles final of Bratislava Open 2023, the largest clay-court men’s tennis tournament in Slovakia.

The Sunday centenary celebration featured not only a group of tennis players dressed in period outfits from the early 20th century, but also special guests on the center court of TK Slovan Bratislava, including Wimbledon champion Ján Kodeš and Czech tennis legend Helena Suková.

The exhibition matches featured several stars from the club and Slovak tennis, including Miloslav Mečíř, Marián Vajda, Karol Kučera, Dominik Hrbatý, Branislav Stankovič, Karin Habšudová, Radka Zrubáková, Belinda Bencic, Filip Polášek, the Kučová sisters, and Dominika Cibulková.

We could not miss the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Slovan tennis club.

The excellent atmosphere during Slovakia’s biggest tournament, the Bratislava Open, was enriched by the remarkable presence of the greatest stars of Slovak tennis.

At the same time, we supported Alex Molčan with applause during the men’s singles match.
