Music has the power to bring people together and awaken emotions within them.
That was precisely the goal of a unique experiential day at PETROF in Hradec Králové, held under the guidance of Zuzana Ceralová Petrofová, representing the fifth generation of the founder of this prestigious piano and grand piano brand, Antonín Petrof.
The program began with a guided tour of the production facilities, where we had the opportunity to witness firsthand how some of the world’s finest musical instruments are created.
Every step of the manufacturing process — from the selection of wood to the final tuning — was a fascinating demonstration of the precision and craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations at PETROF.
We also had the opportunity to try playing various musical instruments ourselves and personally experience the magic of the PETROF sound.
The highlight of the day was the evening concert featuring the music of renowned Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla, performed by Slovaco Nuovo Quinteto.
Their captivating tangos filled the concert hall with an unforgettable atmosphere and provided the perfect finale to this musical experience.
We left with deep admiration for the mastery of Czech piano makers and with an even greater love for music.
